Ann Andrews
Ann Andrews, a founding member of the Jersey City Women’s Advisory Board has been a resident of Jersey City since 2017. Ann’s 3 children have attended 5 schools across Jersey City. Ann is the founder & CEO of Techfunic, an Ed-Tech startup, a pioneer in affordable online STEM education for children with neuro diverse learning abilities. Ann was born in India and immigrated to the US to pursue her career as a Computer Science engineer. She is currently pursuing her Executive MBA at New York University, Stern School of Business.
Ann was granted the NYU Female Founders Fellowship for her contributions towards democratizing STEM education for the average American family. Her story of founding Techfunic based on her experience as a parent was featured in Forbes and she writes regularly about the importance of STEM education for girls in global publications such as Thrive Global. Ann is passionate about equity for women and believes in empowering girls and women in living their lives to their fullest potential. Ann travels the world extensively and draws inspiration on growing her business and raising her children from different cultures.
