Tami Henry-Weaver
I am Reverend Tami Henry and part of my ‘calling’ is to help and support others, so I am proud to be a founding member of the Jersey City Women’s Advisory Board. I am the founder and CEO of New Jersey’s 1st Christian-based home care agency, and I also am a board member/Chaplain for the National Coalition of 100 Black Women(Bergen Passaic Chapter).
I am also president of Angels Care Home Healthcare
I am the Executive Liaison Chaplain for The JCPD Corporate office as well as Chaplain for the WEST District. As a result of my work in this area, I am a recent recipient of Excellence in
Policing, awarded by the NJ Attorney General's office for my role in chaplaincy. I am Founder & Board member of WeBReal organization & Champions for Change foundation. Additionally, I am a recent recipient of the prestigious purple diamond from Sarah’s drs domestic violence organization.
I am already an advocate for women, and I see the Women’s Advisory Board as yet another opportunity to follow my passion of helping women and families.
Other responsibilities have me coming to the aid of families at times when they need experienced help the most, times when a loved one is facing surgery, a crisis or preparing for their end of life.
I have leveraged my degrees and licenses, too numerous to mention, to bring compassion, peace and love to those who are troubled. I am looking forward to see the challenges that WAB will bring.
I have a wonderful and supportive husband Baron, and I am a proud – and busy! - mother of 7 children: 4 boys, 3 girls, and grandmother to 4 grandchildren.
I believe when we work together, we can move mountains together! Let’s get to work!
